Essential Provisions

Expert Partner Panel Program

Learn more about our process for positioning our experts powerfully.

Purpose

Potent information nourishes and sells. We have an impressive group of Board Members, Advisors, Nutrition & Medical Experts, and Associates with credentials and expertise that can shape foundational food paradigms and elevate EP as a leader showing the way. We’ve created an efficient system of workflows for our Expert Partners to submit media and let us handle the rest.

Procedure

Each Expert Partner will have a profile built from some critical foundational information. Please submit the information below, so our content, media, and social teams have all we need to take the media you provide and put you in your best light.

Understanding The EP Social Media Engagement Plan

We have science, innovation, and interest on our side. We’re engaging and effective. We’re making new categories and changing consciousness around what’s available. We have the burden of education. We have the opportunity for education. We have the intent to nourish all beautifully.

Social media doesn’t grow the business; great content does. We need to craft and leverage a repeatable content system that generates engagement without relying on luck or long-shot hopes of something going viral.

Our plan is to leverage our Experts in ways that inform and educate around aspects of the product, the principles and foundations upon which they were built, ingredient and nutrient benefits, as well as the functional medicine and nutritional industries as a whole (especially in relation to MAHA and other current events/movements).

Companies that make a product and keep talking about it lose engagement over time and ultimately have to pay a lot for new eyes to see ads. We’ll fail with that approach.

Naturally, becoming the flower attracts the correct bees. Instead of social media feeds showing the same thing, we will have a mixed bouquet of flowers with our various experts sharing what they know in their unique way. The algorithm is far more likely to reward this, especially if we are regularly producing engaging reels.

Vision + Workflow + Key Objective

Our hyper-efficient workflow ensures you are able to produce the maximum value with minimal effort. We handle all post-production and posting.

You show up and shine. We handle the rest.

1

You Have an Idea

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to turn the ideas that come to mind into content that moves EP forward.

2

Your Create a Quick Video

Most of our video content need is for vertical videos. They can be informal and unedited. Just make sure you’re well composed and list, and the audio doesn’t get lost in the background noise.

3

Upload. Thats It!

We’ll take it from there.

The process below outlines all the foundational needs to make this process swift and effective.

The Foundation

Success Requires Authority + Engagement

Your informative value is high, and you relay authority naturally, so we can keep it subtle to let your presence and message shine through. Give some thought to what will be effective in creating engagement.

And don’t be shy. If you’re the _____ who has done _____ (relevant to the topic), state it clearly in each video. Assume that it is the viewer’s first time seeing your video, and they have no idea who you are.

The Brand of YOU

We’re building your personal brand alongside Essential Provisions.

We want to position you in your best light.

Let us know of anything you require from us.

The Requirements

Here's what we need from you for you to be successful

We Need Your Name and Title Variations

How should we refer to you? What’s acceptable? Tell us in advance.

Note: We will build a profile for you so we have everything ready to copy and paste. This streamlines the process so we don’t have to go back and forth on each video.

Please email the following to info@essentialprovisions.com:

    1. All acceptable variations of your name, titles and credentials. We may use various versions at different times. For example, in longer-form YouTube videos, we may call out your bio or credentials, whereas in the short reels, the shorter name may be used in a graphic, and/or we may say things like “Expert Protein Doctor Says…” in text hooks. Examples of variations:
      • “Doctor Bob” or “Dr. Bob”
      • Dr. Robert Johnson
      • Dr. Robert Johnson, Ph.D.
      • Dr. Robert Johnson, PhD, ABC, DEF, ETC
      • “Protein Science Expert” or “Leading Protein Researcher” etc. (Be creative here for higher engagement and establishment of authority).
      • We will only use what you provide to us.
    2. Your contact information in case we need to run something by you.
    3. Your bio in short form. Ideally, a few versions if you have them (an academic bio may differ from what is best for EP product angles). We can help write them for you if you wish.
    4. Anything else we should know for highlighting you relative to EP products and mission.
    5. Any headshots, press kits, or additional photos we can use to best feature you.
    6. B-roll: Video of you speaking, presenting, active, engaged with others, etc. We need footage that we can cut to that helps position you visually (formal or informal).

We Need 2-3 Simple Videos to Establish Your Authority

We want your reels to be quick and extemporaneous, so we’d like to film a few segments in advance so we can add them when we feel someone needs to know a bit more about your background. We’re asking for multiple, so you can introduce yourself in a few different ways for us to choose from. These can be from 15 seconds, anywhere up to about a minute.

Tips for Reel Submissions

Here's a Bit More For Your Understanding

Best Practices When Recording or Submitting for Our Needs

We’d love for you to tell us the gist of your message as you see it.

    • Share a title idea, or make a mention of any content considerations we should write about in the caption.
    • We use the caption to reinforce what the video shows or teaches.
    • We’ll create one naturally, but if the gist or idea comes from you, we feel it may be better.
    • Because sometimes what you say in the video can be reinforced with another angle.
    • We will also use on-screen text that reinforces the key topic or question.
    • The simplest way to do this is to keep talking after you’ve finished your video content. We’ll capture the rest of your intent by writing it for you.
    • We will go over this when we meet.

Other Best Practices for Creating Content

Keep it under a minute if you can, but it’s no problem if you’re over. Don’t sacrifice great content for forced brevity. Flow naturally.

Watch your social feeds. Notice something trending or interesting? Put your spin on it.

Include Calls to Action (CTAs) when relevant, whether that’s encouraging likes, comments, and shares or prompting deeper engagement (e.g., checking out a resource, event, or the product on our website). We’re not sales-y as a brand, but doing this sparingly works to increase engagement signals.

Include CTAs that encourage likes, comments, and shares more regularly. If there’s a resource with more information you are referring to, direct them to it by mentioning “click the link in the bio.”

Stopping the scroll is important. Hook viewers in the first three seconds with a power statement, a clear value proposition, or a question.

Note that we will transcribe everything, and SEO matters for findability and reach. Speak or display keywords or key phrases early in the video to boost searchability.
